“We were first-time puppy buyers who had been looking for over a year before we found Rossbane. We could not find F1B Cavapoos in Finland, communication with local breeders was difficult, and we had already been taken advantage of by a scammer pretending to be a breeder. It was not easy for us to believe that we could get our dream puppy from another country.

But from the first moment we contacted Emmett, he went above and beyond to reassure us. He even connected us with a Finnish customer to vouch for him.

We had a million questions and very specific criteria for our puppy because of allergies and sensory needs, but he handled all of them graciously. We never felt like a burden. That gave us the confidence to make sure we found the puppy who was genuinely right for our family.

Rossbane also made it easier to make last-minute travel plans because they have litters regularly. In Finland, we had faced waiting lists and no idea of temperament or coat color.

We wanted a small, affectionate, playful dog, but not one who would feel overwhelming in our home. It was reassuring to hear about the calm temperaments of Emmett's dogs, especially after hearing that some Finnish doodles could be very high-energy.

Our nine-year-old son was very scared of dogs, and that was one reason we chose a Cavapoo for its size and loving personality. Emmett sent us lots of videos and photos so we could see the available puppies. He was never annoyed if we changed our mind or wanted to see another option.

From the moment we chose Yoda, he felt special. At just nine weeks old, he was rolling onto his back for belly rubs, and we knew he was a wonderful fit.

We arranged to meet in Dublin and Emmett's son personally delivered Yoda to us and even showed us how to put his harness on. We were nervous about travelling from Dublin back to Finland with him, but the handover and paperwork were a breeze. As Emmett said, we had nothing to worry about.

On 8 June 2025, Yoda became part of our family.

Within weeks, our nine-year-old was sneaking into Yoda's room for cuddles, completely won over by Yoda's gentle, playful and affectionate nature. Emmett continued to check in for many months afterwards, and it feels great to know that we have lifetime support.

A year later, Yoda has brought more laughter and joy into our home. After such a stressful start to our puppy search, he was the happy ending we had hoped for.”

“We've always wanted a Cockapoo thanks to their low-shedding coat - with allergies running in the family we wanted to make sure we'd find a dog that would be as allergy friendly as possible.
